Running along the Charleston Harbor, Waterfront Park provides spectacular views of ships entering and exiting the bay, as well as the occasional glimpse of dolphins and other marine creatures. The eight-acre park has two lovely fountains, shaded park benches and boardwalks that give the park an old-fashioned feel. It is located on the eastern side of downtown, near the Gibbes Museum of Art and the Old Slave Mart Museum.
